Colour: Pale straw in colour with bright lime green and white gold hues.
Nose: Complex, generous and ripe. The upfront fruit aromas are of stewed quince and apricot. There are also nuances of oatmeal, freshly baked brioche and vanilla custard.
Palate: The palate is full bodied, ripe, soft and dry. The upfront fruit flavours are of ripe stone fruit, particularly nectarine and peach. The mid palate is complex with layers of flavour of spice and freshly crushed mixed nuts. The back palate is long and creamy with soft lingering acidity.
Cellaring: Drink now – 4 years.
Food: Roast chicken with all the trimmings, poached blue eyed cod with steamed Asian greens, ripe brie.
