Colour Cherry red in colour With vibrant maroon and cerise hues.
Nose Lifted aromas of plums and stewed red fruits abound. there are hints of 'red frog' confectionery and toffee apple. nuances of leather and spice make an appearance supported by aromas of toasty nutty oak.
Palate Rich, ripe and savoury, elegant and soft. The upfront fruits flavours are of red fruits such as cranberry and alpine strawberry. The mid palate is gamey with hints of black pepper and charred meat. the black palate is soft, dry and long in true Hunter Shiraz style.
