Old vine chardonnay from our Mudgee Vineyard, this traditional style Chardonnay produces a delicate perfume of nectarine, apricot, jasmine and wax flower.

Palate The pallet is abundant with white peach, guava, and a kiwi tang. The back Pallet is full, rich and decadently creamy due to its barrel fermentation in a combination of both French and Hungarian oak adding to the wine subtle flavours of vanilla, coconut and hazelnut. The wine underwent the traditional practice of batonnage (less stirring) giving it a buttery, custard, pastry and brioche like character.

Cellaring 3-7 years.

Food Lobster Thermidor and confit duck fat potatoes, white bean, kale, prosciutto and thyme cassoulet baked triple cream brie with garlic, honey rosemary and candied walnuts.
